Rebirth of the Useless Young Master’s Counterattack Chapter 53 Part 1

Chapter 53: The Yin Sha Feng Shui Array

[阴煞风水阵 (Yīn Shà Fēngshuǐ Zhèn): lit. Yin Sha Feng Shui Array; fig. A type of hostile or malicious geomantic arrangement in Chinese metaphysics designed to attract negative energy and inflict harm, misfortune, or spiritual oppression on a target]

"Uncle, it really wasn’t me. Look at my thin arms and legs, how could I possibly push someone away?" Mu Lichuan wore a perfectly measured smile on his face.

Fortunately, Qi Wei, that idiot, hadn’t revealed his appearance, or things wouldn’t have been resolved so easily. At the same time, he knew someone must have deliberately led the police here.

He hadn’t offended anyone else, aside from the "Qingyun Ring" and the "evil object," both of which were related to Su Yun. Or perhaps it was the enemies of Master Zhang and his group.

The middle-aged policeman had only come to this place after receiving an anonymous tip. In his eyes, children were the future flowers of the nation and must not become swindlers—otherwise, it would bring no benefit to the country’s future.

Their generation was already like this, so they could only pin their hopes on the younger generation.

"You’re newcomers from Chuan City?" The middle-aged man held some documents in his hand. The capital had a large floating population, and this villa had often been the site of deaths. Now that all the trees had been cut down, the gloomy atmosphere was gone, and he felt much more comfortable.

In his opinion, the previous owner of the villa should have chopped down the trees long ago. Staying in a shady environment for too long could easily lead to depression and even suicide.

Rich people keeping mistresses, abandoning their wives and children, such things were common. If they couldn’t take it anymore, they might choose a tragic end.

"That’s right. We came from Chuan City. It’s just the two of us, grandfather and grandson, relying on each other. Grandpa is planning to contact a school to arrange my transfer." Mu Lichuan spoke with a "shy" expression, giving off an introverted vibe.

The capital had certain rules for schooling children of migrant populations—otherwise, they could only attend expensive private "aristocratic" schools. Judging by the young man’s appearance, he probably wasn’t short on money.

"If you encounter any superstitious organizations in the future, report them immediately. Don’t let yourself be fooled." The middle-aged policeman couldn’t do much to a minor. After offering this earnest advice, he left.

Mu Lichuan was currently at the first level of Qi Refining. Though he could barely sense spiritual energy, his body had undergone significant changes, making him acutely aware of how different he was from ordinary people. Even if he meditated all day, he’d still be full of energy the next morning.

"Money can make the devil turn the millstone, "Mu Lichuan directly enrolled as a transfer student at International Tianyuan School. As for Master Zhang and his group, they were probably still being "reformed"—otherwise, they would have come to see him by now.

Mu Lichuan had fair features, and the aura around him - something ordinary people lacked, made him very popular among the girls. Life in the capital gradually settled into a routine.

"Is Mu Lichuan here?" Mu Xiaoran was exercising when he saw a young boy peeking in cautiously before asking in a low voice.

"Lichuan, someone’s looking for you." The old man didn’t dwell on things anymore. He understood the exhaustion in his body, if he didn’t make further progress, he only had a year or two left.

He didn’t have any grand wishes now, only hoping his great-grandson could become self-sufficient so he could pass away in peace.

Mu Lichuan came out in sportswear. "What’s the matter?"

Qi Wei shuddered at his harmless appearance before saying, "Want to make some money?"

"Do I look like I need money?" Mu Lichuan let him in, then raised an eyebrow in question.

"Young Master Mu, I know you’re amazing, but please help my buddy out." Qi Wei scratched his head. He was treating this as a last resort, if the boy refused, there was nothing else he could do.

Mu Lichuan’s brow twitched slightly. "Tell me what’s going on?" Though he wasn’t interested in feng shui, he did like the power of faith, because it could save his life at critical moments.

As it turned out, Qi Wei’s buddy’s father was a construction contractor. After buying land, he naturally started building high-end residential complexes. But from the very first day, accidents kept happening - first minor injuries, then lost limbs, and finally, deaths.
