Rebirth: Spoiling the Obsessive Film Emperor Chapter 99 Part 2

Wen Linghui's fans swarmed in to compare, and sure enough, they discovered many similarities in the two people's appearances!

Wen Yu himself had relatively delicate and refined features. When he had short hair, it wasn't as obvious, but if they photoshopped long hair onto him, he looked exactly like a copy of Wen Linghui!

A celebrity child actually went to an idol training program and successfully debuted! And throughout his debut period, not a single related piece of news leaked, only to be exposed now!

Some people admired Wen Yu for wanting to succeed on his own merits without relying on his parents' fame. Others, however, were skeptical and spread conspiracy theories, convinced that his debut was only possible because the vote counts had been manipulated.

No matter what, everyone's attention was successfully diverted to Wen Yu's side, and they no longer focused on the internal conflict among Ming Qian's fans.

Wen Yu's agent had originally planned exactly when to reveal this news, but now it was suddenly revealed by someone else first. The agent was furious. Scanning the hot search list, they quickly noticed the trouble on Ming Qian's side and immediately understood what was happening.

The tiger doesn't show its power, so you think I'm a sick cat?

They promptly bought a negative hot search targeting Ming Qian in return.

If I don't teach you a lesson, you'll think everyone is a pushover you can bully.

Knowing full well that Wen Yu's mother was a famous international film empress, they still had the nerve to use the film empress's son to lower the heat on their own artist? They had to admire their audacity!

After listening to Hao Lin's advice, Ming Qian had already felt reassured enough to ignore his Weibo private messages. He even set aside his main account and only used a secondary account to check on the public relations progress.

Seeing that the marketing accounts had released news about his poor health, and his fans' agitated emotions had turned into concern for him, Ming Qian gradually let go of his worry.

Things were starting to develop in the direction Hao Lin had predicted, which was good news for him. Next, he just needed to calmly wait for those professional anti-fans Hao Lin bought to attack and cyberbully him, while he stayed silent and played the part of a poor, cyberbullied innocent victim.

However, what Ming Qian didn't expect was that shortly after the Wen Yu incident surged to the top and drew a large wave of fire away from him, a hot search topic that exposed his alleged plastic surgery was rapidly pushed to the top!

Ming Qian instinctively covered his face, his eyes revealing a look of horror.

His fingers almost flew as he clicked into this hot search topic. Then, he saw that the highest-trending post by a blogger included comparison photos of his face from middle school and his current face.

From the nasal bridge height visible in the profile view, to the width of the nostrils visible from the front, as well as his teeth alignment, cheekbone width, and jawline width, everything was marked with comparison lines, pointing out the places he had allegedly undergone surgery.

Ming Qian felt all the hairs on his body stand on end. He quickly called Hao Lin, asking him what was going on with the online rumors. Was this the negative publicity Hao Lin had promised to arrange for him? This wasn't what they agreed on before!

Hao Lin's tone was also unpleasant: "This wasn't done by me. Plastic surgery is very damaging to an artist's reputation. Even if it's true, you try every possible way to hide it, let alone if it's not true. Why would I joke about something like this?"

Ming Qian: "Then... what's happening now...?"

Hao Lin said angrily: "It's all because of that Wen Yu situation! Damn it, how could I forget that Wen Yu shares an agent with that old woman Wen Linghui! He had kept his identity hidden for a reason, likely as part of a larger strategy. By exposing him prematurely, I've provoked their anger, and this is their retaliation. That old woman's agent has always been notoriously vindictive. This was my miscalculation!"

"What's the use of saying this now? We shouldn't have targeted Wen Yu in the first place. Couldn't we have continued to use Rong Yu as the scapegoat? It's always been like that before," Ming Qian said anxiously, his voice unable to hide a trace of resentment.

Hao Lin's face instantly darkened: "What? Are you blaming me now? Ming Qian, don't forget how you got to where you are today! If it weren't for Young Master Chang, do you think I would take on a hopeless fool like you? Do you know how many talented artists are begging for me to represent them?"

Ming Qian bit his lip hard on the other end of the phone, almost drawing blood, before swallowing the humiliation he felt. He then switched to a humble, apologetic tone: "I'm sorry, Brother Hao, I was too emotional just now. I'm just too scared. I don't want to be slandered like this."

Hao Lin finally sensed something was wrong. His fingers tightened around the phone: "Ming Qian, you seem a bit too nervous? What's going on? Since you mind them slandering you about plastic surgery, I can easily arrange for you to go to the hospital to prove your innocence."

Hao Lin's tone carried a suppressed anger: "Or, were you lying to me before? Have you actually had plastic surgery?"

"No!" Ming Qian hurriedly denied: "No! That's not it! I haven't had any! I haven't!"
