Rebirth with the Beast Chapter 99 Part 1

Chapter 99

The little female, when Su Yi first rescued him from the wandering orcs, had seemed a bit dazed and slow-witted. But these past few days, because of Su Yi’s illness, he had suddenly become very sensible. He helped others with many tasks, believing that if he was obedient and well-behaved, Su Yi would have less to worry about.

When Su Yi was chatting with Tang Yu and got attacked by the orc, the little female was watching nearby. Su Yi had already established a very powerful image in the little female’s mind, so when danger appeared, the little female instinctively believed Su Yi would be fine. But when he saw Su Yi collapse, he couldn’t quite believe it.

Afterwards, when Sinoer took Su Yi away, the little female didn’t try to stop them like the others did. He was standing far away, but he vaguely saw Su Yi’s lips move. It was Su Yi who asked Sinoer to take him away, he believed Su Yi must have a way to save himself. In such a situation, Su Yi didn’t ask Ruila to heal his wounds but chose to let Sinoer take him away. There had to be a reason for that.

So, the little female was more optimistic than anyone else. He simply believed in Su Yi with all his heart.

Tang Yu pulled the little female close, keeping him by his side. Tang Yu reached out to touch the stones blocking the cave entrance and couldn’t help but smile. Only Su Yi would come up with such a violent method of self-preservation. If it was in their original world, who would dare use such a method?

Thinking of this, Tang Yu clenched his fist. If the child hadn't come so suddenly, he would never have let Su Yi get hurt.

At that moment, Su Yi, whom everyone was worried about, had already entered his mysterious space.

Su Yi clutched his wound, stumbling into the small wooden cabin. Ever since he discovered he could retrieve items with his thoughts, Su Yi hadn’t physically entered the space in a long time.

On this continent full with wild beasts, Su Yi was confident in his skills, so he had still prepared a backup plan just in case.

Even if he himself wasn’t injured in the future, if Sinoer or the two children were hurt, he could still provide emergency treatment.

Su Yi shakily got up from the ground, the movement causing a heart-wrenching pain from the wound on his chest. He took a deep breath and gritted his teeth to stand.

He felt that he had become too pampered recently, likely because he now had someone who loved and cared for him. This level of pain felt unbearable, whereas in the past, he could endure much worse injuries alone. But now, whenever he was hurt, he felt weak. He really wanted to lie in Sinoer’s arms and hear Sinoer’s worried and tender words comforting him.

Su Yi chuckled softly, shaking his dizzy head, and walked toward the wooden cabin based on memory.

There were many medicines, most of which were prepared by Mino, and some that Su Yi had collected himself. He grabbed a medicine jar, one that Su Yi had specifically asked Tang Yu to make for him. Originally meant for storing salt and ingredients, Su Yi had found the jars plentiful and decided to store some medicinal concoctions in them.

Thanks to the space’s preservation function, he wasn’t worried about the medicine losing its potency.

Su Yi took the medicine and headed toward the backyard. If he remembered correctly, there was a small lotus pond there. It was called a lotus pond, but it was actually just a small pool of water. It was so small and blocked by a lot of debris, Su Yi hadn't noticed it before. It was only recently that Su Yi noticed it.

As he walked toward the backyard, large amounts of blood continued to drip from his body.

Bright red blood fell in droplets along the way. Su Yi struggled to reach the pool, completely exhausted. His face was pale, and beads of sweat covered his forehead.

Inside the space, there was no concept of time, weather, or temperature. At that moment, the space was neither hot nor cold. Su Yi used one hand to remove his clothes and poured the medicine from the jar onto his wound. He had wanted to clean the wound properly, but his vision was growing darker by the second.

After applying the medicine, Su Yi suddenly collapsed to the side.

Fortunately, Su Yi had been sitting by the pool when he applied the medicine, so even if he fell, it wouldn’t be too bad.

Su Yi was actually very unsure in his heart, because he knew that his wound had been penetrated. Even if Mino’s medicine was effective, it was still an ancient formula. He doubted it could stop the bleeding from such a severe injury.

Regardless, he had no strength left. He could only close his eyes, feeling a hint of sadness.

As he lost consciousness, the scene that appeared in Su Yi's mind was the first time he saw Sinoer. His expression back then must have been utterly infatuated.

Su Yi had never seen a man so pure and clean. Because of his race, Sinoer’s figure was more slender than other orcs, and his skin was two shades fairer. Su Yi had also been fair-skinned at first, but after spending so much time in the sun, he had tanned a bit.

Sinoer had a pair of eyes that are considered ominous by others, but to Su Yi, they were as beautiful as dazzling diamonds.

Su Yi thought Sinoer was perfect in every way, his snow-white hair, without a single strand of impurity, felt like the finest silk to the touch. When someone was that good-looking, it was almost unfair. Su Yi had once muttered that even Sinoer’s fingernails were beautiful. What he didn’t realize was that this was the effect of love, seeing everything about the beloved as perfect.

As Su Yi sank into darkness, he thought: I really want to see him again…
