Rebirth with the Beast Chapter 108 Part 2

Tang Yu had been feeling better these past few days, no longer drowsy all the time. Jells carried him around the yard. Jells’ yard wasn’t originally this big, but after returning, he expanded it, thinking about how much space their child would need to play.

Now, Tang Yu’s belly had grown larger like a balloon. As it grew larger, the children who used to crowd around him were warned by their parents not to bump into him.

The children were playing in the yard when Mino arrived, wearing a cloak. The kids immediately greeted him.

Mino had come to check on Tang Yu’s pregnancy. As soon as Jells saw him, he carried Tang Yu back into the house.

Mino looked at Tang Yu’s belly and frowned. Tang Yu’s belly was unusually large, by modern medical standards, it might even be considered a giant baby. Mino had never seen a dragon baby before, so he wasn’t sure if this was normal for dragon offspring.

“What’s wrong?” Tang Yu asked, feeling uneasy as Mino stared at his belly.

Mino quickly shook his head. “Nothing, everything’s fine. I just think your belly is unusually large. It might be twins.”

Tang Yu’s face turned pale at the mention of twins. One is already enough to handle, two at once?

Jells also looked nervous. Twins were rare in the orc world, and even when they did occur, they were often difficult to deliver.

This news put Tang Yu in a bad mood. He was afraid he wasn’t strong enough to handle the birth, and the thought of complications made him anxious.

This kind of anxiety was common among pregnant individuals, who often worried excessively during pregnancy.

In the afternoon, Su Yi heard from Dino that Tang Yu might be carrying twins. He decided to take Dino and go congratulate him.

As soon as Su Yi entered Tang Yu’s house, he felt a heavy atmosphere. The source of this gloom was Jells, who stood there with a stoic expression.

    “What’s going on?”

Jells, clearly in a bad mood, ignored Su Yi. Su Yi went inside and found Tang Yu looking equally troubled. Tang Yu grabbed Su Yi’s hand as soon as he saw him. “Su Yi, look at my belly. It’s grown so big in just two months. Whose baby grows this fast?”

Su Yi glanced at Tang Yu’s belly and smiled reassuringly. “Isn’t it twins? Two babies would naturally make it bigger, but it’s not that unusual.”

“Don’t say that! The more you say it, the more I don’t want to give birth. I don’t think I have the strength to deliver even one, let alone two. I’ve heard it’s extremely painful.”

Su Yi sat down on the edge of the bed, forgetting about his own soreness. As soon as he sat, his backside ached.

Luckily, Tang Yu was too preoccupied with his belly to notice Su Yi’s discomfort, or else he would have teased him mercilessly.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be here. Nothing will go wrong,” Su Yi said confidently. If Tang Yu really had trouble during delivery, Su Yi planned to give him diluted water from the space. Even if it were four or five babies, it wouldn’t be a problem.

The news of Tang Yu carrying twins quickly spread throughout the tribe. Even Luoxi brought gifts to visit Tang Yu.

Tang Yu who was in a bad mood, didn’t bother to get up and greet them. The visitors didn’t mind, as they believed Tang Yu was blessed by the Beast God for carrying twins. Of course, if they knew Tang Yu’s true feelings, they would have been too scared to speak.

At this moment, Tang Yu wished Mino had made a mistake. He would rather have one large baby than two. The thought of taking care of two made his head spin.

Luoxi planned to partner with Gill after the snow season. When Su Yi heard this, he sneered inwardly. He had no intention of letting Luoxi survive the snow season. Thinking about next year’s cold season? Ridiculous. Su Yi had already shown more than enough tolerance by letting Luoxi live this long.

The next morning, the lookout horn sounded. There were two types of horns: one small and sharp, used for enemy attacks or beast hordes, and the other heavy and deep, used to welcome guests.

Ed and his group brought many gifts to thank the tribe for helping drive away the wandering orcs and to strengthen the bond between the two tribes.

Hunter kept a small portion of the gifts and distributed the rest to the families who had contributed. Su Yi and Tang Yu’s families, having participated in the effort, received a generous share.

Su Yi divided the food he received into portions and gave them to the elderly, weak, and disabled in the tribe. His family didn’t lack for such things. He selected a few furs for Old Taylor, who insisted he was still strong, but Su Yi felt it was his duty as a younger generation to show respect. He left the small trinkets and other items untouched, not because he didn’t want them, but because they could be used to win people over.

Seeing Su Yi’s generosity, the parent of the child who had proposed a contract to Dino approached Su Yi.

“My child really likes your Dino,” a seemingly honest female said nervously. Clearly, he wasn’t used to speaking up.

It was likely that, for the sake of his child, this usually quiet female had mustered the courage to approach Su Yi.

“Yes, Dino told me about it,” Su Yi said, glancing at the young female behind the female. The child, slightly older than Dino, was neatly dressed despite the modest clothing.

“What’s your name?” Su Yi asked, bending down to speak to the child.

The child hid behind his mother and peeked at Su Yi before whispering, “My name is Xingrui.”

Su Yi looked at Dino, who seemed nervous, occasionally stealing glances at Su Yi’s expression.

“My Dino is already an adult. If you have any issues, discuss them with him. He can make his own decisions now.”

After saying this, Su Yi patted Dino’s head. Of course, Su Yi was just saying this for show. He could tell Dino liked the child, and the family seemed decent, so Su Yi tacitly approved. As for Dino being an adult and making his own decisions, that was just to give Dino some face.

As soon as Su Yi walked away, the young female ran over and took Dino’s hand.

The female scolded his child, “You’re a female. How can you be so casual?”

The child stuck out his tongue at his mother. “I’m not being casual. Dino and I have already made a contract. We’re quasi-partners.”

The child’s face turned red as he spoke, and Dino also blushed and nodded in agreement.

The female looked at Dino’s well-behaved demeanor and couldn’t help but like him more. His child had good taste. Despite being an unknown orc, Dino was far more sensible than other children.
