Rebirth with the Beast Chapter 98 Part 2

Sinoer's location was perilously close to the horde. Jill tried his best to take Sinoer away, but Sinoer remained frozen in place. He was like a beautiful statue, unmoved by Jill's words or persuasion.

Sinoer who was immersed in sorrow, didn't sit still and wait for death when he saw the horde of beasts approached. Because he still had to wait for Su Yi to come back. If he was killed by the beasts, Su Yi wouldn't find him when he returned later.

Sinoer's idea was very simple, he just instinctively wanted to survive and wait for the person he longed to see the most.

Soon, more and more beasts gathered near the cave. Jells' eyes flashed with a cruel killing intent. He didn’t want Tang Yu to wait alone in the cave for too long, so he had to deal with them faster.

A giant dragon rampaged through the area, its massive body tearing apart the bodies of the beasts with precision and deadly accuracy. With each fallen beast, the dragon would snatch one with its jaws, fly into the air, and then hurl it down with ferocity.

Not far away, a massive white snake had turned blood-red, its body warm with the blood of its prey. It reveled in the thrill of slaughter.

It was as if, by killing endlessly, it could forget the reality that Su Yi was in critical condition.

The rain fell heavier and heavier. The puddles on the ground were stained red with splattered blood, occasionally reflecting the winged orcs flying overhead. They were all drenched and covered in blood, some their own, some from the beasts below.

Ed stood in place, his face gloomy as he watched the rain falling from above. He only hoped the rain would wash away the overwhelming scent of blood, otherwise such a strong smell of blood might attract even greater trouble.

If Su Yi was here, Ed might have been so tense. In his eyes, although Su Yi was a female, she was an incredibly intelligent person who always came up with solutions to various problems.

But even such a smart person had met with an accident.

Ed suddenly felt a deep sense of foreboding. He had a feeling that this time, it might be difficult to bring everyone back safely.

Inside the cave, the females and children grew more anxious as they waited in the long, dark tunnel. Especially when they heard the sounds of battle outside, one female couldn’t help but ask nervously, "What if they can’t defeat those beasts?"

In the darkness, Tang Yu couldn’t see who was speaking. He didn’t respond immediately but listened carefully.

Another female replied: "Yes, we only have injured beastmen here. If they can’t win, won’t we all die here?"

At the mention of death, the atmosphere immediately became chaotic.

Ruila quickly tried to calm everyone down. "Don’t worry, everyone. We have the strongest warriors from the Dragon and Winged Leopard tribes here. We’ll be fine."

The female who had spoken first retorted, "Just the two of them can’t possibly fight off so many beasts. Even if they can hold out for a while, we’ll still be doomed in the end. In my opinion, we should look for another way out and try to escape on our own."

Her words caused another wave of murmurs, and many seemed to agree with her.

If Tang Yu didn't know Jells, he might also have believed the female's words. No matter how powerful a person was, there was no way to defeat one against a hundred. But Tang Yu knew about Jells' strength. Racial differences were racial differences, otherwise his original world wouldn't advocated eugenics. Superior physical and mental abilities would always surpass disabilities and intellectual deficiencies.

Ruila was getting anxious, Ed had given him the task of keeping everyone calm. He wasn’t much of a talker, but these past few days, he had been trying his best to help because of Ed's instructions. However, the situation was too dire, and Ruila suddenly felt uneasy. He reached out and tugged at Tang Yu, hoping Tang Yu would come up with a solution.

However, Tang Yu had no intention of speaking up, and just looked coldly at the females who stirred up panic. He wasn’t Su Yi. Su Yi, being a police officer, had an ingrained sense of justice. Su Yi always felt compelled to protect the weak, because he positioned himself as the strong.

But Tang Yu was different. He knew he wasn’t strong enough. He wouldn’t risk angering the crowd by trying to calm them down out of kindness.

About half of the people seemed to agree with the two females. Tang Yu didn’t need to see them clearly to know who they were. He didn’t care about such females. Although he knew them, Tang Yu would only watch coldly and even add fuel to the fire.

They began to move, searching for a way out of the cave. Tang Yu was still sitting where he was, when a little child approached him. This child was the little female that Su Yi had taken special care of before. The child huddled close to Tang Yu and asked Tang Yu: "Are you scared?"

"Scared of what?" Tang Yu asked doubtfully.

When the child heard this, he immediately said: "I'm not scared either. I think they are very powerful, more powerful than all the orcs I have seen."
