The Sweet little Fulang Chapter 131 Part 1

Chapter 131

Lu Gu sat and watched the rain for a while, but unexpectedly, it began to pour even harder. The rainwater cascaded down from the eaves with a loud, rushing sound, reminiscent of the white waterfalls in the mountains. He and Wei Lanxiang moved their stools further inside to avoid getting their shoes and pants wet from the splashing water.

Before Jiang Rou could finish, Zhao Danping nodded eagerly. She desperately wanted to leave this place. She couldn’t stand the solitary and ascetic life of the nunnery, with its green lamp and ancient Buddha.

Rebirth with the Beast Chapter 111

Chapter 111

Su Yi looked at Hunter in surprise. What did Hunter mean by his words?

This sudden change left everyone feeling caught off guard.

Hunter and Jells were close, it was something that everyone knew. So, even if people had doubts about Ian, they didn’t dare voice them openly.

After all, they believed that even if they spoke up, Hunter wouldn’t actually do anything to Ian.

Now that Hunter had suddenly changed his attitude, everyone was left speculating, whispering among themselves.

  “What’s going on?”

  “I don’t know. What’s happening?”

  “Did the leader discover something?”

The murmurs grew louder, and even Su Yi could hear them clearly.

Ferosa, hearing Hunter’s words, suddenly brightened. Though tears still streaked her face, she smiled and asked, “Really? Leader?”

Hunter looked at Ferosa, his expression serious, devoid of his usual gentleness.

Seeing Hunter nod, Ferosa finally lowered the bone knife. She happily grabbed Luoxi’s hand. “Luoxi, did you hear that? I told you, an orc like Ian would face retribution.”

Luoxi didn’t smile. He couldn’t smile in public. Dragged along by Ferosa, he frowned at Hunter. Clearly, he hadn’t expected Hunter to say such a thing.

Mino stared wide-eyed at Su Yi. “Su Yi, what’s going on with the leader?”

Su Yi didn’t answer. Instead, he pulled Mino away.

After spending time with Hunter, Su Yi knew what kind of person he was. Hunter appeared gentle, but he was firm in his decisions. Given his friendship with Jells, Su Yi didn’t believe Hunter would suddenly turn against Ian. There must be something Su Yi didn’t know.

Su Yi decided to go to Ian’s place to ask him directly.

Mino, seeing Su Yi silent, muttered to himself, “What’s going on? Isn’t Hunter Jells’ friend? Why is he suddenly treating Ian like this? Ian’s so pitiful. How could he side with Ferosa?”

When the two arrived at Ian’s house, they found several people already there, all familiar faces.

Dilson, seeing his partner, walked over with a silly grin. He took Mino's hand and said, “Why are you here?”

Mino looked at Dilson and the others, sensing something was off, but his mind couldn’t quite grasp what it was.

“What are you all doing here?” Mino asked curiously.

Dilson glanced at the others, then smiled and pulled Mino aside to explain.

Su Yi entered the room. Ian’s house wasn’t large, and with so many people inside, it felt stifling.

Jero was the first to speak, scratching his head awkwardly. “Uh, Su Yi, what brings you here?”

Su Yi glanced at him. “What are you all planning?”

Jero coughed, about to explain, when Ian spoke up. “Su Yi, they’re trying to help me. I know we should’ve told you, but we can’t always rely on you.”

Su Yi nodded. “And? You’re not going to tell us the plan?”

Ian sighed. “Jero, take him to see. He’ll understand.”

Jero quickly led Su Yi away, taking him to Old Taylor’s house. This was where they had all lived together before moving out. Now, it had a fence around it.

Jero didn’t dare speak along the way. He led Su Yi into the yard and to a hidden corner.

Jero lifted an old fur, and Su Yi stepped forward. When he saw what was hidden beneath, his eyes widened in shock.

  Afterward, Su Yi returned home.

  Feeling reassured, Su Yi relaxed.

Back home, he saw Sinoer helping little Eli learn to walk. When Eli saw Su Yi, he wobbled toward him.

Su Yi didn’t move, waiting for Eli to reach him before crouching down to hug him.

The soft and sweet Eli said, “Mother, I really want to go outside.” He pointed at the window with his chubby arm. Su Yi smiled, walked to the window, and closed it, then pulled the fur curtain shut. The curtain was Su Yi’s way of blocking the wind. Though the room was warm with the window closed, Su Yi worried Eli was too young to handle the cold, so he had added the curtain.

Eli, confined to the bedroom, was probably bored.

But without Su Yi’s permission, Eli could only roll around on the bed, playing by himself. Eli was Sinoer’s child, and after his transformation, many people worried he would inherit Sinoer’s unknown orc traits. But when Su Yi took Eli out, they saw that Eli was just like any other young orc, healthy and without any issues.

This discovery made many people realize that unknown orcs weren’t so different from ordinary orcs. Before Sinoer, no unknown orc had a partner or children. Now that Sinoer had set this precedent, some families with young females began interacting with single unknown orcs. Of course, the only single unknown orcs left were Jero, Dino, and Redra.

Redra’s house had been receiving visitors lately. A single orc with a young female had visited Redra multiple times, but after Redra said something, the orc stopped coming.

  Three days later.

Su Yi left Dino to watch Eli and went out with Sinoer.

Sinoer, still bundled up, followed Su Yi as they trudged through the snow. In the past, Sinoer would have been hibernating by now. He feared the cold and would sleep through the harsh winter.

But now, with the house so warm and wearing so many layers of clothes, he didn’t feel cold at all.

They arrived early at the valley’s central square, where only a few people were chatting. When they saw Su Yi and Sinoer, they greeted them.

After waiting for a while, they saw Hunter leading a group over, with Ian among them.

Su Yi didn’t greet them but pulled Sinoer aside. Su Yi scanned the area but didn’t see Luoxi or Ferosa. Sinoer leaned down and whispered, “What are you looking for?”

  Su Yi smiled. “Nothing.”

Su Yi had told Sinoer about Ian’s situation the night before, so Sinoer wasn’t surprised to see Ian brought out.

As more people gathered, Luoxi and Ferosa finally arrived.

When they appeared, Su Yi’s gaze locked onto them. His stare was quickly noticed by Luoxi, who looked back and gave a shy smile. Su Yi returned the smile, but his was filled with mockery.

  Luoxi froze, his expression darkening.

Sinoer watched their interaction silently, standing behind Su Yi like a steadfast support.

Hunter, seeing that most people had arrived, pulled Ian to the front. Everyone’s eyes immediately focused on them. Ian, uncomfortable with the attention, shivered slightly. Hunter patted his back, seemingly encouraging him.

Ian lowered his gaze and suddenly spoke. “You must be wondering why I suddenly hit Luoxi?”

This opening stunned everyone. This wasn’t what they expected. Wasn’t Ian supposed to be on trial? Why did they sense something unusual?

Luoxi's face turned pale, he was furious and glared at Su Yi.

Su Yi smiled. Luoxi was indeed clever, already sensing something was off before it even began.

Ian seemed to struggle with how to share his painful past. Just as he mustered the courage, Ferosa suddenly rushed forward.

Ferosa moved quickly, catching everyone off guard. Before anyone could react, she slapped Ian across the face.

Ian who was fair-skinned, now bore a red mark on his cheek.

  Hunter was furious.

He grabbed Ferosa’s wrist as she raised her hand again.

  “What are you doing?!”

Hunter threw Ferosa to the ground.

Ferosa's eyes were red, he pointed at Ian. “This Ian is trying to bully Luoxi again. I was just getting revenge for Luoxi.”

Ferosa spoke with conviction, glaring at Ian as if he wanted to devour him.

Hunter frowned coldly. “Shut up. If you keep spouting nonsense, go home.”

Hunter, usually gentle and smiling, was truly angry. Ferosa was acting like a fool.

Ian, initially stunned, now looked at Luoxi with anger.

Ian didn’t care about Ferosa’s stupidity. What infuriated him was that Luoxi, the real villain, stood there as if nothing was wrong.

  Chaos erupted.

Su Yi sighed and stepped forward. Ian wasn’t good with words, and facing someone as articulate as Ferosa and Luoxi, he wouldn’t stand a chance. Though Su Yi knew Ian wanted to handle this himself, the situation was too chaotic for Ian to manage.

When everyone saw Su Yi approach, they fell silent. Su Yi walked up to Ian, who looked embarrassed. He had told Su Yi he wanted to handle this himself, but now he couldn’t even control the situation.

Su Yi didn’t mind. He understood Ian’s feelings. Without saying anything, he stood before the crowd.

“Alright, I know many of you have issues with me and Ian because of what happened. I’ll take this opportunity to explain.” Su Yi’s voice rang out, and everyone turned to him, waiting for his explanation.

Ferosa, seeing Su Yi, stood up angrily. “Don’t believe him! Su Yi and Ian are in this together. Don’t trust him!”

Su Yi frowned, his expression darkening. “Your parents probably didn’t teach you not to interrupt when others are speaking.” Su Yi’s voice was calm, but those nearby saw the icy glare he directed at Ferosa.

Ferosa shrank back, feeling as if Su Yi’s gaze could kill.

With Ferosa silenced, Su Yi pointed at Luoxi. “Luoxi, come here. Don’t be afraid. Everyone’s watching. I won’t do anything to you in front of everyone, right?”

Hearing this, everyone turned to Luoxi. If he didn’t come forward, it would make him look guilty. He walked over reluctantly.

Once Luoxi was there, Su Yi continued. “I heard Luoxi was captured by unknown orcs many years ago?” Su Yi asked calmly, his eyes fixed on Luoxi. He used a questioning tone, prompting others to share the story.

Sure enough, a female chimed in. “Yes, Luoxi’s had a hard life. First, he was taken by unknown orcs, then by wandering orcs.” She looked at Luoxi with sympathy.

“Right. So, who can tell me who saved him?” Su Yi asked curiously, as if making small talk.

In criminal investigations, Su Yi was a veteran. He often used this method to train newcomers. By posing questions and letting others find the answers, the story became more convincing.

Hearing Su Yi’s question, everyone began to recall.

Luoxi, though clever, was only clever in small ways. When he returned, everyone had been curious and skeptical about how he managed it. Now, with Su Yi bringing it up again, they all looked at Luoxi, waiting for an explanation.

Su Yi remained silent, waiting to see what Luoxi would say.

Luoxi’s expression remained grim. He opened his mouth and said, “Someone saved me back then.”

“Who?” Before Su Yi could ask, others couldn’t help but inquire.

Yes, who? Luoxi’s answer had always been vague.

“A… a wandering orc,” Luoxi said, his voice trembling as he tried to stay calm.

“Alright, since you’ve said that, I won’t question you further. I’ve known your temperament since childhood, and you’re not the type to sweet-talk.” Zhang Fangyuan said, “After my parents passed away, my fourth uncle treated me like his own son. Now that Xiaomao’s matter is at hand, I must pay extra attention.”

Previously, they had always lived in the countryside, where having six or seven servants was considered normal for ordinary families. They were used to doing everything themselves, so having two servants, Huangqi and Gancao, to help with household chores was already very convenient.

The Sweet little Fulang Chapter 130 Part 2

As their lives improved, even breakfast became more lavish. Early in the morning, Lu Gu steamed a large bowl of egg custard, drizzling it with sesame oil for a rich aroma. He divided it into bowls, giving Ji Qiuyue a slightly larger portion.

In the past, they would eat breakfast squatting or standing in the yard, but now they mostly sat at the table.

He also heated up some white steamed buns and chopped half a pickled radish into small pieces. Each family member held a bun stuffed with pickled radish in their left hand and used a spoon to eat the egg custard with their right.

In about ten days, when the dog days of summer arrived, the hens and ducks would stop laying eggs regularly. However, with so many chickens at home, they would still collect a few eggs each day.
[狗日子 (gǒu rì zi): Lit. Dog days; Fig. the hottest and most uncomfortable days of summer]

Since Lu Gu’s hen laid its first egg in early spring, three months had passed. From selling eggs and duck eggs alone, he had saved over one tael of silver, earning at least three hundred coins a month.

While this might not seem like much, for a rural fulang without other sources of income, it was a significant sum. If the village men knew, many would envy him.

After seeing the doctor last time, Lu Gu had remembered Shen Xuanqing’s advice and made sure to eat one egg every day.

Since Ji Qiuyue became pregnant, she hadn’t raised any chickens or ducks herself. The old hens and ducks belonged to Wei Lanxiang, so the eggs Ji Qiuyue ate were provided by her mother-in-law. She was never deprived.

Sometimes, when Lu Gu cooked, he felt he had plenty of eggs and didn’t mind sharing. When boiling eggs, he wouldn’t take any from Wei Lanxiang’s basket.

Today, with Shen Xuanqing at home, they had eaten boiled eggs for several days in a row. Steaming egg custard was a nice change.

After breakfast, Wei Lanxiang who was full of enthusiasm, rolled up her sleeves and headed to the kitchen to show off her skills by braising the boar meat.

Lu Gu and Shen Yan shouldered their bamboo baskets and went to gather grass. Ji Qiuyue, bored at home, joined them for a stroll by the river behind the house.

Shen Xuanqing and Shen Yaoqing also had their hands full. They went to the new house to collect the eggs laid by the ducks overnight, let the chickens out into the coop, drove the ducks to the water, and fed the cows and sheep. They also had to clean up the rabbit, cow, and sheep droppings.

The new house had a vegetable garden that needed watering and weeding. The dry fields and paddy fields also required attention to prevent the weeds from choking the crops.

Their busy morning only paused during the hottest part of the day.

The cold pig ears, dressed with spicy oil and sprinkled with green onions, were crisp and flavorful. The heart, liver, lungs, and kidneys were sliced and served cold, accompanied by a plate of peanuts and a plate of cucumber salad. The men clinked their wine cups and drank deeply, feeling utterly satisfied.

Today, Lu Gu also got half a cup of wine. He took a small sip, the strong flavor making him hiss. His face quickly turned red, like the finest rouge. He picked up his chopsticks and focused on the meat and vegetables, not daring to touch the wine again.

No matter how busy or tired they were, good food and drink made everything better, easing their fatigue.

Neither Shen Xuanqing nor Shen Yaoqing were heavy drinkers. At home, they only drank a little to satisfy their cravings.

After resting through the midday heat, the afternoon chores at the new house were light, just feeding the rabbits, cows, and sheep. The weeding could wait. Because of the heat, only Shen Xuanqing and Shen Yaoqing went out to deliver meat to their maternal uncle’s family.

Lu Gu and Wei Lanxiang went to the new house to feed the rabbits and let the ducks and calves out to graze. Da Hui and the other dogs guarded the house, while Guaizi, the most carefree of the dogs, followed Lu Gu everywhere.

Having a dog around was reassuring. Sometimes, when Lu Gu went out alone to gather grass for the rabbits, he felt safe with Guaizi nearby, a habit from his time in the mountains.

“Oh no, there’s blood!” Wei Lanxiang exclaimed as she bent down to feed the rabbits, noticing one with blood on it.

Lu Gu hurried over with his basket. This hutch housed two young male rabbits, and one had a bitten ear. He quickly set down the basket, and together with Wei Lanxiang, they separated the rabbits. With plenty of hutches available, each rabbit could have its own space.

Rabbits could fight fiercely, and these were meant to bring in money. They couldn’t afford to lose any.

“Mother, should I dig up some hemostasis herbs, mash them, and apply them to the wound?” Lu Gu asked, distressed by the bleeding ear.

“That’s a good idea,” Wei Lanxiang agreed.

Lu Gu quickly dug up some hemostasis herbs by the river, mashed them into a paste, and applied it to the rabbit’s ear. Wei Lanxiang cut a strip of cloth and helped bandage it.

The sun was hidden behind clouds, allowing them to open their eyes fully. But soon, the sky darkened, and clouds rolled in, bringing a change in the wind.

They were in the chicken coop collecting eggs when they noticed the weather shifting. Hurriedly, they herded the chickens back into the coop and grabbed the egg basket, rushing to the front of the house.

Raindrops soon pattered on the roof and the ground, quickly turning into a downpour. The dry earth soaked up the water, and streams formed.

“Oh dear, if we’d known it would rain, they wouldn’t have needed to water the vegetable garden this morning,” Wei Lanxiang said, watching the rain.

She was referring to Shen Xuanqing and Shen Yaoqing. Lu Gu asked, “I wonder if they’ve reached Uncle’s house yet.”

“They probably haven’t,” Wei Lanxiang replied with a smile. “They’re young men. A little rain won’t hurt them. They’ll find somewhere to take shelter.”

She glanced at the dark sky and added, “This rain won’t last long. It’ll pass soon.”

Summer rains came and went quickly.

The earthy scent of rain mixed with the heat filled the air, reaching their noses.

There were no raincoats or sewing baskets at the new house, so Lu Gu and Wei Lanxiang sat under the eaves, watching the rain. Guaizi and the other dogs also took shelter, lying or standing around. Guaizi, in particular, tilted his head as if imitating the humans watching the rain, though he was unclear what he saw. He even let out a couple of whines.

Wei Jing looked at Yang Jiabo, who was lying on the bed pretending to be dead, and didn’t know what to say. "You just had to mess around, and now you’re paying for it, huh?"

"No, no, messing around was still fun," Yang Jiabo stubbornly insisted.

Rebirth with the Beast Chapter 110

Chapter 110

Ferosa rushed toward the passage but was stopped by the orc on guard duty.

“Why can Ian go out, but I can’t?” Ferosa demanded, glaring at the orc, who looked uneasy.

Hunter, who had been keeping an eye on the situation, suddenly descended from the lookout post and approached the orc. “No females are allowed to leave without permission. This is a critical time,” Hunter said, though his words were directed at the orc, Ferosa knew they were meant for her.

Ferosa, though resentful of Ian, didn’t dare defy Hunter’s orders. She reluctantly turned and left.

After watching the female leave, Hunter strode into the passage.

Su Yi and Sinoer each found cover and prepared their weapons. Su Yi was skilled with weapons, but this was Sinoer’s first time using one. Worried about Sinoer, Su Yi stayed close. Sinoer held a crossbow, which Su Yi had taught him to use. Sinoer had practiced his aim in his spare time, but Su Yi had never asked how accurate he was, so he was unsure.

However, Sinoer was much calmer than Su Yi. Although Su Yi had forbidden him from transforming, which greatly reduced his combat ability, Sinoer was confident he could handle the beasts alone. After all, he had survived many injuries in the past without transforming or weapons.

Despite his calm demeanor, Sinoer felt a sweet warmth in his heart whenever Su Yi glanced at him with concern.

The area they were in had few beasts, with only a few passing by. Just as Su Yi was about to draw his bow to shoot a spiked dragon, he heard the sound of an arrow cutting through the air, followed by the cry of a beast.

  The arrow was from Sinoer.

Su Yi was stunned for a moment before walking over to the spiked dragon. The arrow had pierced its skull through the eye. As Su Yi approached to inspect the kill, he felt a gust of wind. He quickly drew his dagger, but before he could turn, someone grabbed him by the waist.

“Don’t worry, I’ll protect you,” Sinoer said, holding Su Yi with one arm and punching the beast’s head with the other.

Sinoer and Hunter were similar, both exceptionally handsome and stronger than the average orc. While good looks often made orcs seem unreliable, Sinoer and Hunter were the opposite.

Sinoer’s punch was strong enough to shatter stone. A large beast like spiked dragon was sent flying.

As the beast was knocked back, Sinoer released Su Yi and fired an arrow from his crossbow, finishing it off.

In just a short time, Sinoer had taken down two spiked dragons, one large and one small.

Su Yi was delighted. He dragged the smaller one over. “Let’s process these first, then go hunt some bigger ones.”

Sinoer smiled, his light-colored eyes reflecting Su Yi’s joy.

Their home already had plenty of food, but the memory of past hunger drove them to hunt more.

They dragged the spiked dragons to the river, which ran through the valley.

The river was frozen, so they had to break the ice to access the water.

While processing the spiked dragons, a few large red-eyed beasts approached. Su Yi let Sinoer handle them, as hunting was an orc’s instinct.

As Su Yi worked, he glanced over at Sinoer hunting.

Then he noticed someone moving in the distance. He was about to go investigate when he recognized the figure.

It was Ian, holding a bone dagger and chasing a silver moon beast.

Ian leaped over a ditch, grabbed a vine, and swung himself in front of the beast. His movements were wild, contrasting with his delicate features, and quickly drew attention.

Su Yi set down his spiked dragon and watched curiously.

It was his first time seeing someone hunt a silver moon beast which was known for its agility and ferocity. Even orcs found them difficult to catch. Su Yi was ready with his bow, prepared to assist if needed.

Not far behind Ian was a tall orc, looking worried. If Ian hadn’t insisted on handling it alone, the orc would have stepped in.

By now, half the beast horde had been killed, with some escaping and others still fighting.

Ian, who had been bundled up, removed his layers due to the heat. Now, he wore only a long shirt.

He held his dagger, his gaze fixed on the silver moon beast, which was panting heavily after the chase.

Suddenly, someone slipped on the icy ground, startling the beast.

The silver moon beast’s fur bristled, and it lunged at Ian. Ian, smaller than most orcs, leaned back as the beast pounced. Just as he was about to fall, he pushed off the ground and slashed upward with his dagger. The beast’s belly was sliced open, and blood sprayed over Ian’s face.

Ian shook it off and dodged the falling beast.

The other orcs were stunned by Ian’s skill.

“Ian, you’re amazing!” Jero, who had followed Ian out, exclaimed.

Ian turned to Jero, his blood-streaked face breaking into a radiant smile.

It was the first time he had been so happy in a long time.

The other orcs also praised Ian, but the tall orc who had followed him stayed back, watching from a distance.

Hunter, still circling above, felt a surge of pride seeing Ian’s success.

After the hunt, everyone returned to the valley.

News of Ian’s solo kill spread quickly.

Even those who had previously clashed with Ian came to his home to celebrate.

To mark the successful hunt, Hunter organized a simple bonfire feast in the square. Everyone brought food to share.

Su Yi hadn’t planned to attend, but Eli, who had just woken up, seemed eager to join.

Seeing Eli’s chubby and fair face, Su Yi decided to show him off.

However, as soon as they stepped outside, Eli shivered from the cold. Su Yi bundled him up in layers before heading to the square.

The bonfire was already blazing, and Eli soon shed his thick furs. The crowd noticed Eli’s transformation and were drawn to his adorable appearance.

Eli, still unsteady on his feet, was carried by Su Yi. Later, Mino took over.

Su Yi, worried about Sinoer catching a cold, led him closer to the fire. There, they saw Tang Yu talking to a child.

Su Yi looked around but didn’t see Jells. “Where’s Jells? How dare he leave you alone?”

Tang Yu gestured toward a group, where Jells was with Ian, Jero, and Dilson.

“Why aren’t you over there?” Su Yi asked.

Tang Yu smirked. “They’re plotting something. Said it’s not for pregnant female's ears.”

Su Yi glanced at the group and decided to join them.

Jero made room for Su Yi, who sat down without hesitation.

“I know what you’re planning. I said I’d handle it, but Eli’s transformation kept me busy,” Su Yi said calmly.

Ian, his face glowing in the firelight, shook his head. “Su Yi, I know you’re smart and capable, but I don’t want to rely on you for everything. This is between me and him. I want to settle it myself.”

Ian, who had been numb before, now exuded confidence. Su Yi couldn’t help but admire him.

Su Yi wanted to argue that Ian’s boldness might cause trouble, but he knew they had already made up their minds.

The next day, the valley was in an uproar.

Su Yi’s first instinct was to rush to Ian’s house, but on the way, Mino pulled him toward the square.

“Su Yi, Ferosa confessed to Reg, but he rejected hin. Now he’s threatening to kill himself with a bone knife,” Mino said urgently.

Su Yi, relieved it wasn’t someone he knew, tried to leave, but Mino dragged him forward.

“Wait, there’s more. Do you know why Reg rejected him?”

“He must have someone else in mind,” Su Yi said without thinking.

Mino slapped Su Yi’s shoulder. “Exactly! But his someone else is… Ian!”

Su Yi felt dizzy. “What? Who?”

  “Ian,” Mino repeated.

Su Yi scratched his head and rushed to the square.

The square was crowded. Su Yi and Mino pushed their way through to find Ferosa in tears, glaring at an orc, the tall orc who had followed Ian.

Ferosa cried, “I’m a female! How could you reject me for an orc, and an unknown orc at that?”

This was the ultimate humiliation for Ferosa. If Reg had simply said he didn’t like him, he could have accepted it. But to choose an orc over him?

  Ferosa felt deeply insulted.

He had warned Luoxi that Ian was trouble, but now Ian was stealing orcs?

As Su Yi approached, Ferosa screamed, “It’s all because of you! If it weren’t for you, an orc who dares act so shamelessly. An orc seducing another orc…”

Su Yi frowned, then noticed Luoxi standing nearby, watching him expressionlessly.

Su Yi smiled faintly at Luoxi, who seemed surprised.

“Ferosa, you must be mistaken. Ian is a good person. You can’t judge him based on that incident,” Luoxi said, glancing at Su Yi.

Su Yi sighed. He had let Luoxi off before, but now Luoxi was bringing up old grievances.

Just as Su Yi was about to confront him, Hunter’s voice rang out.

“After recent events, many have grievances against Ian. As an orc, he shouldn’t have struck a female, regardless of the reason. With today’s incident, I believe there’s a problem with this unknown orc. In three days, we’ll hold a public trial here to judge his actions.”

Hunter spoke calmly as he walked to the center of the crowd.
